As a Project Manager, you will provide project management support for business development, systems and infrastructure changes, interdepartmental initiatives and ISO certification processes. The Project Manager ensures processes and solutions align with business objectives, while working collaboratively within technology and the business units to achieve the stated objectives, measurable goals, and deliverables of these projects on time and within budget.
Expertise with common desktop applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
Proficiency with MS Project and MS Visio
Business acumen, and the ability to communicate effectively to the team, executives, business stakeholders, technical staff and vendors across organizational boundaries
Experience with high visibility projects, comfortable reporting status and issues to Executive management
Demonstrated influence, motivation, communication, presentation and facilitation skills
Capable of managing multiple projects and customers with competing deadlines concurrently
Demonstrated ability to assist in preparation of all project related documents
Management experience of distributed project teams
Experience working with external vendors
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Self-motivated, customer focused and proactive leader
Good organizational and time management skills
Ability to travel as needed to successfully perform position responsibilities
Ability to maintain confidentiality of materials handled
Manage day-to-day project administration and coordination activities to support the project teams and ensure flawless execution of projects.
Manage medium to large projects, tasks and project change management
Organize and administer project meetings and prepare resulting communications for distribution
Maintain and develop project documentation and communications
Manage document version and change control for all project deliverables and documentation
Manage the risks and issues based on input from project team meetings and steering committee meetings and follow up to ensure resolution
Manage the project budget and forecasts
Act as a liaison between business users, leadership, and project teams, communicating appropriately and effectively with co-workers, customers and supervisors, maintaining awareness of status and any potential delay, situation or concern that may affect the outcome of the projects.
ISO Certification Management:
Review and update policies, standards, and procedures related to ISO 27001 certification to raise the maturity of the program
Oversee annual ISO Certification process
Participate in disaster recovery, contingency planning, and testing for ISO 27001 certification in the organization
Assist leadership in security investigations and execute preventive measures
Report and escalate to management as needed
Maintain relationships with third parties/vendors where applicable
Perform other duties as assigned
Bachelor’s degree in information technology or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
