FSInspection was awarded the 2015 NPI Award in the category of Repair and Rework Tools for the HDMag® High-Magnification Visual Inspection Station. The NPI 2015 Award was presented to FSInspection at the IPC award ceremony on February 24, 2015 during the IPC APEX EXPO in San Diego, California.
The HDMag offers magnification up to 127x, adjustable LED lighting, auto-focus with manual override, a gliding X-Y table, and software for image capture, storage, and measurement.
The HDMag is perfectly positioned to provide greater assistance in SMT inspection, repair and rework, and in the fight of counterfeit part and component detection by improving inspection accuracy and efficiency. The ergonomic design and 24-inch integrated monitor combined with the HDMag Software provides convenient collaboration among peers and supervisors, as well as real-time sharing with suppliers and/or customers. The ergonomic design also promotes good posture and reduces operator eye, neck, and back strain.
