Kiosk Solution Architect

Primary Function
The Kiosk Solution Architect acts as a technical expert, guiding clients through the implementation of accessible kiosk systems that meet regulatory and usability standards. This role collaborates closely with sales teams and clients to assess needs, deliver technical demonstrations, and create customized proposals. Additionally, the engineer contributes to marketing and technical resources to support business growth. Successful candidates will have a strong understanding of digital accessibility, including WCAG 2.1 A/AA, ADA, and Section 508 standards.
Specializing in accessibility solutions for kiosks and JAWS for Kiosk, the engineer ensures that interactive kiosk solutions are accessible and provide a seamless user experience for individuals with disabilities. The role involves evaluating customers’ accessibility needs, defining the scope of work to address those needs, and determining the complexity of content and technical requirements to provide accurate work estimates.

Scope of Work

- Support sales teams by providing technical guidance and expertise during client engagements.
- Conduct live or virtual demonstrations showcasing the benefits of JAWS for Kiosk and how it enables accessible self-service experiences.
- Collaborate with clients to gather technical requirements and translate them into actionable, tailored solutions.
- Develop detailed proposals, including licensing recommendations, technical specifications, and implementation plans.
- Educate clients on the subscription-based nature of JAWS for Kiosk, including the annual renewal process and ongoing support.
- Write blogs and marketing content to promote JAWS for Kiosk and share customer success stories.
- Create and maintain technical documentation, FAQs, and Knowledge Center resources.
- Stay updated on accessibility standards (e.g., WCAG, EAA, ADA, Section 508) and ensure proposed solutions meet compliance requirements.
- Collaborate with the product team to incorporate client feedback into product improvements.
- Provide post-sales technical support to ensure successful implementation of JAWS for Kiosk or Kiosk related professional services.
Required Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
- Excellent communication skills.
- Experience working with JAWS®, JAWS for Kiosk, or similar screen reader solutions.
- Familiarity with accessibility standards, including WCAG, ADA, and Section 508 compliance.
- Strong presentation skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Ability to work collaboratively with sales teams and clients.
- Demonstrated experience meeting or exceeding sales support goals.
- Proficiency with CRM and sales enablement tools
Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- 5+ years of experience in solutions engineering, pre-sales support, or a related role.
- Experience with SaaS solutions and subscription-based licensing models.
- Proven experience with kiosk and self-service solutions.
- Familiarity with the field of accessibility is preferred.
- Proven experience in technical writing, such as blogs or documentation.

The salary range for a typical candidate is USD $125,000-$150,000 and varies based on location, education, and years of experience.
