.NET Software Engineer

We seek a resourceful and versatile Python Engineer to design and develop system-level services in Linux environments. This role requires a generalist mindset, an eagerness to tackle complex challenges, and the ability to quickly learn and apply new techniques. You will be instrumental in creating robust and efficient solutions to power our core services on Linux systems.
Scope of work

- Work with various internal teams and external users to negotiate, define, and document software requirements.
- Build websites and services that interact with desktop software and other backend services in a maintainable way.
- Work closely with Software Engineering to design and implement user-facing connected services.
- Analyze and understand existing business systems in order to maintain and extend them.
- Design, implement, and support cloud infrastructure for Engineering resources and services on AWS and Azure.
- Learn and apply accessible design principles.
- Occasionally work outside of business hours to support deployments, maintenance events, or critical systems issues.
- Collaborate with staff across the organization to fulfill job responsibilities.
Supervisory Responsibilities
This position has no direct reports.
Education and Certifications
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Computer Engineering or equivalent experience
- 3+ years of experience in Full-Stack Development/Software Engineering
- Conversationally fluent in English; ability to read and write fluently in English
Required Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
- Work hours must span at least half of the East Coast Business hours.
- Full-stack software design and development with C#, .NET, MVC, .NET Core, Entity Framework
- RESTful API design
- HTML, CSS, JavaScript, JSON
- SQL
- Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programing concepts
- Ability to understand, analyze, and design business systems and interactions
- Excellent debugging and troubleshooting skills
- Clear, concise oral and written communication skills

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- AWS experience: EC2, RDS, S3, Lambda, API Gateway, EBS
- Knowledge of cloud concepts, architecture, and services

The typical salary range for this position is USD $90,000 to $115,000 (negotiable) and will vary based on candidate qualifications, experience, and location.
