Primary Function

This key leadership role will drive the company’s brand presence, thought leadership, product marketing, and customer engagement in the assistive technology industry.
Scope of Work
The VP of Marketing is a key leadership role responsible for developing and executing comprehensive marketing strategies to drive lead generation, enhance brand awareness, and support sales initiatives. The successful candidate will lead event management efforts, oversee rebranding initiatives, implement account-based marketing strategies, the digital presence including social media management and manage product marketing activities. The Marketing Executive will manage the team responsible for creating sales collateral and enablement materials.
Key Responsibilities:
- Rebranding and Value Proposition Articulation:
- Lead rebranding initiatives to position the company effectively in the market with an easy to understand and value proposition that speaks to our end users and our buyers (IT, HR, Program Managers, Accessibility Managers and Dealer Representatives).
- Build a strong program through which the rebranding effort flows with an emphasis on seller training and development and external brand (website and social media) redesign.
- Develop program to communicate with dealer community to expand awareness beyond the legacy products that support end users to include services & software we offer to enable enterprises in accessibility initiatives/requirements
- Lead Generation:
- Develop and implement innovative lead generation strategies across multiple channels.
- Monitor and analyze lead generation performance, making data-driven adjustments as needed.
- Account-Based Marketing (ABM):
- Create and execute targeted ABM strategies to engage high-value accounts for the purposes of account upsale and cross sale of additional Vispero products.
- Collaborate with sales teams to align marketing efforts with account goals and customer needs.
- Product Marketing, Customer Marketing and Case Study Development:
- Develop a product marketing capability which includes sales enablement for direct sellers and sales enablement for the dealer ecosystem to properly understand the features, benefits and ROI of each of our products and drives differentiation from other solutions available (ie., Microsoft or free/close to free product offerings)
- In partnership with the Product Development team build a cadence for communicating and marketing upcoming feature/benefit releases that align with commercial needs ie., driving price increase on recurring revenue
- Align the outward marketing facing messages to key objectives of our various buyers and the problems it solves for educational institutions, government agencies, enterprise customers. Work to establish a rebalance of this messaging relative to the impact Vispero has on its end users visa via some of the legacy products ie., JAWS that are well known in the low vision community.
- Sales Collateral/Enablement:
- Develop a compelling sales collateral that supports the sales team in developing closing deals (including dealer ecosystem).
- Implement training programs and materials for sales teams to enhance product knowledge and sales techniques.
- Event Management for Lead Generation:
- Plan, coordinate, and execute marketing events and trade shows to generate leads and drive brand visibility.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize event strategies and follow-up processes.
- Digital Marketing and Analytics:
- Oversee digital marketing efforts, including SEO, SEM, social media, email campaigns, and content marketing, to drive web traffic, leads, and conversions.
- Leverage analytics tools to measure and report on marketing campaign performance, customer engagement, and ROI.
- Develop and execute a web/digital presence redesign (likely in partnership with an external agency)
- Continuously evaluate and implement new marketing technologies and tools to enhance digital marketing effectiveness and efficiency.
- Be conversant on how AI can help drive efficiencies in all marketing related activities including building outbound campaigns (content generation), sales enablement material, automation and predictive analytics
Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field; MBA preferred.
- Experience as a Marketing Executive leading a team through a rebuilding/relaunch of marketing phase including the coaching and development of direct reports, the ability to attract new talent with specialized capabilities and strong collaborator with commercial leaders including Head of Account Management, VP of Sales and Head of Dealer Relationships
- 10+ years of experience in marketing leadership roles, with a focus on B2B marketing.
- Experience leading a B2B Marketing team and ability to work closely with CEO, CFO and the Company’s Leadership team.
- Strong knowledge of account-based marketing principles and practices.
- Demonstrated success in product marketing and the development of sales enablement materials.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Analytical mindset with experience using data to drive decision-making and ability to develop quantitative KPIs to measure performance and marketing effectiveness.
Supervisory Responsibilities
This position manages and directs a team of Marketing professionals.

Salary Range – $225,000 to $275,000 (negotiable) and will vary based on candidate qualifications, experience, and location.
